Get Picky's January Inspiration Challenge is UP!

Hi!

Get Picky has an awesome challenge for you! You are going to love it! I loved it SO much that I did a double pager for it. A double pager isn't a requirement for the challenge - I just wanted to scrap five photos that were printed quite large because they are some of my faves. :)

First - here is my layout... (double click on it to supersize it)...

Fun! :) More details to follow! And now for the challenge...

"Here in the Southern Hemisphere we are in the midst of gorgeous Summer weather...perfect for the Summer holidays! Our inspiration prompt challenge is to scrap your favourite holiday photos and share the story as part of your journalling.....

**As an extra to our challenge,
you must include at least 4 photos to help tell the story behind your layout **

So for this challenge I have also been inspired by the actual photo, not just the theme (which is totally fine on it's own if Summer isn't happening - it could be Winter instead for example!). I have been inspired by the sand and the writing on it. I've created a scene on my layout where the sand is the focus and the sea and sky are not so much - just like the photo. My title work was totally inspired by the way "Holiday" was written in the sand.

I've got some cool Stuff 2 Scrap chippie on here...

These beach huts are gorgeous. They are designed by Leeann Pearce. I've cut them up a little and arranged them to suit my layout, and simply added a pink bling for the doorknobs! :)

Some more S2S chippie...

And lots of Purple Pumpkin. LOVE those rose cabochons. They are sooo cute! I received them in Christmas' Girls Lucky Dip! As well as that sweet embroidered flower...

Look at that uber cute sailor duck... just like a vintage Donald! That fabric button is also from PP, as well as the yellow baker's twine...

And don't for get the Spotty Dotty Button! :) :)

Looking forward to seeing all your lovely entries! This challenge is too good to pass up! ;)

TFL!
