I was sooo thrilled to be recently invited on a fantastic design team - it was very flattering indeed! So without further ado, you can check out my announcement right here!!! Yay!!!
Okay so here is my first ever DT layout...

This month's challenge is to use muslin or surgical bandage(s) on your layout! How cool is that!!!
See the brown backdrop on my layout there? Well that's white bandages given the coffee & modge podge treatment!
Basically I mixed a couple of teaspoons of coffee powder in a cup with water, then added about a tablespoon of modge podge, with a dash of PVA glue for good measure, and made a watery paste.
I then used a painted this onto each bandage laying on cardstock, starting from the top of the page to the bottom - placing the bandages horizontally.
Once dried I cut around three edges of my "bandaged paper" with pinking shears, then adhered it to some pre-misted cardstock. :D
There's a closie for you, check out those gorgeous Purple Pumpkin vinyl shapes. I also love those Green Tara charms - they are gorgeously detailed. I've got three charms on my layout - I received a lovely pack of these from Scrapbookit.
More Purple Pumpkin here - A Spotty Dotty Button, twine, carnival tickets and doily trim!
So here are the deets for the challenge for you...
*This is an international blog, so anyone can enter
- If you want to participate in the following Challenge with a layout or card, it should follow the project made by Celine Navarro

** The deadline for this challenge is midnight February 29th
The Design Team will vote and the winner and the Top 5 projects will be announced soon after the challenge has finished.**You may enter as many times as you like and combine this with other challenges.
