Steampunk Love...

Hello everyone!

Firstly I want to say a big thanks to all your kind words and congratulations about my massive news! :)

Yesterday I had the fantastic opportunity to be a scrappy student for the very first time!  And what a teacher I had too - the wonderfully talented artist Anna Dabrowska aka Finnabair!!

The class I took was called "Industrial Baroque: Steampunk Love".  It was totally super fun and I finally discovered how to get my scrappy hands dirty... like seriously!!!

Anna is really really friendly, happy and fun to listen to.  I loved her accent and she said some really cute things too.  She's great! :)

Everyone's layouts turned out so different from each other - it was so much fun to go freestyle with so much awesome product, which was all provided (very generous too, I might add).

So here is my layout from the class, I really like it - it's really different and it was alot of fun to create.  It's a fantastic souvenir to take home from such an amazing morning!

This is one of those layouts which is so much better in real life... but you still get the general idea though, of course! :)

This layout is chocablock full of metal... it's pretty heavy (weight wise).... HEAVY METAL!! ;P

Here's a super closie of the bottom left corner.  Looks like something dredged up from the Titanic almost, doesn't it?  So cool!!!

And one more close up.  You can see my eye there in the bottom corner.  I've got a bit of a Blade Runner thing going on there - kind of a happy accident, you may say!  :)

Isn't she lovely?!  I am so glad I took this class... it was super inspiring and it was a fantastic opportunity!  :D

I totally would recommend her classes, if you're able to get to one.  You're sure to have a blast!!!

That's all for now!

Cheers,
Chantal :D
